New (2024) Cadillac XT6: Official Price, Release Date & Rumors

Welcome to the 2024 Cadillac XT6 Review! This is a review post where you can get Price, Performance, and other important information. The Cadillac XT6 is a small luxury SUV that competes with the likes of the BMW X1 and Audi Q3. It slides smooth turbo-4 power under the hood and has comfortable, well-controlled handling.
But with only two rows of seats and a tight backseat, it’s not as family-friendly as some of its rivals. The XT6 refined personality and sleek exterior styling elevate it to a 7 out of 10 in our rankings.
Luxury FWD variant | $50,000 |
Premium Luxury trim costs | $55,000 |
The 2024 XT6 is offered in Luxury and Premium Luxury trims. The former kicks off at $49,900 for front-wheel drive and $51,900 with all-wheel drive. Both models have a standard rearview camera and Cadillac’s Smart System suite of driver assists, including automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, lane-departure warning, lane-change alert, and a blind-spot monitor with a rear cross-traffic alert.
The Luxury also adds a hands-free power liftgate, front and rear parking sensors, a remote vehicle start, 18-inch alloy wheels, silver roof rails, a roof spoiler, deep-tinted rear privacy glass, and a powered tilt/telescoping steering wheel. Inside, synthetic leather upholstery is standard; you can upgrade to real hides at an additional cost.
2024 Cadillac XT6 Performance & Review
Upgrading to the Premium Luxury gets you a panoramic sunroof, power-folding heated side mirrors, and an upgraded audio system with surround sound, a wireless charging pad, and an oversized color head-up display that displays speed, navigation, engine data, and music information.
You’ll also get keyless open and start, a remote start that works up to 200 feet away, and a rearview mirror with an auto-dimming function. The front seats are heated and ventilated, and the Premium Luxury adds a power driver seat with 2-position memory and a 10-way power passenger seat with 2-way lumbar support.
Cadillac’s class-leading Super Cruise hands-free driving tech is optional on the CT5-V in a separate Technology package that starts at $1,400 for the front-wheel drive version and $2,300 with AWD. On certain mapped roadways, the system can take over acceleration, braking, steering, and lane-change duties under some conditions, but it requires the driver to keep their hands on the wheel at all times and check in with the car’s touchscreen periodically for updates.
At our test track, the Lyriq made a quick and stable 0-60 run in 4.6 seconds, though its handling isn’t a match for enthusiast drivers. Its brake pedal feels artificial and lacks feel, and its cargo room is limited by the need to store the battery pack under the floor.
The regenerative braking system, which allows one-pedal driving on some roads, helps to offset this shortfall. And as with all Cadillac vehicles, the first dealer maintenance visit is covered under warranty, which is a benefit compared to other premium people-haulers.
