In the cabin, there’s a slick new 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster with graphics and drive mode screens that change according to the setting. Switch to Sport, for example, and the screen shifts to a digital tachometer with boost pressure and temperature readings.
This, along with the rev-matching function, which boosts throttle response when shifting up through the gears, and an Alcantara-sheathed steering wheel, helps to amplify the Type R’s performance-orientated persona.
